Week 13-Fantasy Picks & Drops

Updated: Dec 13, 2024

As we enter the critical final stretch of the fantasy football season, finding reliable starters can be the difference between playoff heartbreak and glory. Some names that stand out in Week 13 are Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore and quarterback Caleb Williams, who are poised for a massive outing. Moore has been key to Caleb Williams’ last couple of good games, and along with Keenan Allen, they are going to have a big game this week especially considering that it’s a thanksgiving game, and although I do not think the Bears will win, DJ Moore will have a good game against the Lions. These past two weeks, Caleb Williams has had massive games with Moore as his number 1 target. While Moore has racked up 168 yards and 1 touchdown on 14 receptions, Williams has passed for 571 yards and 2 touchdowns. The rookie quarterback seems to finally be getting on track and starting to find his place in the NFL, and while I still think that the Bears are mediocre and that they will not win this game, I think these two will have a great final stretch of the season.

After last week’s incredible performance by the Cowboys against the Commanders in Northwest Stadium, I think it’s safe to say that the Dallas Defense will put up another massive game this week, except instead of playing against an arguably top 10 offense, they face Tommy DeVito and the Giants. After putting up 22 points last week, the Cowboys defense may just have another game changing week, not only in the NFL, but possibly for your fantasy team. Despite being mediocre the entire season, I do think that they will turn things around for the 2nd half of the season and I think that they will prove that in tomorrow’s game in Dallas. Now it is also important to mention that the Cowboys have gotten some of their defensive stars back from injury, including Eric Kendricks and Daron Bland who both had a good game last week against the Commanders, and I think they will do it again this week.

Malik Nabers is a must sit this week. As the only shining star in a collapsing offense, don’t expect Malik to go off this week, especially considering how the Cowboys defense played last week and the fact that his QB will be Tommy DeVito. Last week, Nabers had 6 recptions for 67 yards in Tommy DeVito’s first game as a starter, and I don’t think he will play any better than last week. The Giants play at AT&T Stadium for their Thanksgiving Game this year and not only do I think it will be a blowout win by the Cowboys, but I think that Malik Nabers should not be on your fantasy roster before tomorrow’s game.
